As with everything that Hope produces, there is a whole bunch of precision engineering and fine attention to detail that goes into the creation of their brake rotors. The braking surface is laser cut from a sheet of steel and riveted to an aluminium central carrier to promote the dissipation of heat and compensate for thermal expansion. Available in a range of anodised colours, these rotors will make any bike look great while also improving its performance under braking.
Who’s this for: The floating rotors are designed to dissipate heat well so these are a great choice for gravity fed riding on steep trails. They’ll perform well for almost any type of riding though.
